Passages: shutter

Site specific installation created for my solo exhibition at Regelbau411 sep 2024 - jan 2025.
It is one of two works that connects the inside of the bunker with the outside.
I constructed a motorized iris diaphragm shutter installed in one of the former gun slits in the bunker.
The shutter lets light into the inner rooms of the bunker, exposing the concrete and rusty iron structures. It also makes it possible to look from the inside of the bunker to the outside, as well as get a glimpse of one of the other works inside.
